Hehe this was fun to do! I actually used oil pastels for this which I should use more (if only to get better!). I don't know if anyone else does this but I colour over the top of the pastel with coloured pencil; it has the effect of smoothing out the colour and removing the lumps which I prefer to the 'raw' applied pastel. Does that make sense? Anyway it gives an interesting effect that's good to experiment with.Related content

Sure, I could do! I've been meaning to do some more work with oil pastels, so perhaps it could be my next project. I'll let you know when I've finished another one if you'd like?
