Once a year he gets a new face-up, because he is unfortunately gets dirty very quickly and I make also improves and then I am dissatisfied with him. xD

Have you tried using 'Magic Block' to help get rid of the marks?
I'm not sure how well it'd work, but I hear its really good to help remove marks from dark cothing stains and wig stains on the doll's body.

Yes I tried but I think to make him new face-ups is even because the Mr. Super Clear doesn´t hold so long i don´t know why T_T and because I make big efforts and I want that Zuko is really really beautiful ^.^

I don't know how it would work to be honest, cause I've never actually gotten up-close with a BJD before, so it is all new to me.

How long have you been doing your own face-ups and body blushing?
When I get my first doll, I will probably get a default face up, but later I would like to do my own face-up work.

I don´t do body blushings ^^ because Mr Super Clear turn grey really fast!... So I don´t want to make my dolls Body blushings ^.^
But I am really fast with face up´s ... i need 1-2 hours... a friend of mine for example needs much longer but she is a bit better than me... but she do face ups for others! I just do it on my own dolls so i don´t have so much practice like she has.

Ohhh, okay. I thought you might have done the body blushing with before you painted the tattoos.
Is it hard to do a face up? I want to be able to do my own some day, but I'm totally paranoid about permanently screwing it up.

no problem. no. it isn´t hard... you must have a calm handguidance and it´s a thing of practive... if you do more faceups ever and ever again you go fast much better ^.^
If you have to see how it works search on youtube for "face-up tutorial" there you can see how it work and than you cann see whats the best for you...
And no problem if you have questions I´ll try to answer but My english sucks xD

Magic-Bock? is this like a eraser? if yes, i use it ^.^
But you only can use it to correct the face-up befor you fix it ^.^ after you cant use it to correct the mistakes. but if there is superficial dirt you can use the "Magic-Block"

I don't understand why they are so expensive. People always want to know where they can get them, they're all custom though.

You don´t understand? hm... I guess because of the materials in it and some of them are limited... I don´t know... and the custom made Dolls are more expensive because they are all handpainted O.o sewing the clothes... I think its Okay if pple ask where they can get them... they can get the Basics ^^ the rest thes must do it alone or pay an face-up artist... buy clothes... od try to sew them self...

I get my doll from www.doll-zone.com he was expensive ^^' and I cutomize him by myself it means I make eyes, tattoos, make-up and clothes by myself ^.^
