The Fly is a near-masterpiece, that's for sure!Β
Naked Lunch is hard to get through, but it's bizarre quality is certainly fascinating. Β

Thanks!
Horror is such a fascinating genre, deserves the same amount of respect as any other genre! Β

Pretty well done piece,
Β You definitely got my favorite movie on here for number 2
As for Naked lunch wasn't bad movie, very hard to follow but after taking look at it.
Its not bad film,
just very surreal then again there was drugs involved so it made sense
why he saw lot of these creatures or did what he did after he took bug powder or remains of centipede.
For his addiction Other wise this pretty nice piece.

Thanks!
It's not my favorite movie I'll admit, like you said, it's very hard to follow. The creatures in it were really awesome though, which is why I included it here.Β

Brilliant work on all of them, you name some of my favorite movies and I'm not even a horror fan. Would LOVE to see your rendition of Kessler's transformation!

Thanks! I'm not even the biggest horror fan myself, the vast majority of the genre is pretty awful unfortunately. :/

I agree. Most of the time it's just some monster killing people and the story has no brain or heart. "The Fly" had both.

Exactly, that's what I liked about The Fly so much, you could feel for the characters.

not familiar with #5 but, 1-4 represents an awesome period for movie creature design.

I didn't like the movie it was from, but the creature effects were great. Same makers of the Fly.
Definitely, from the mid-late seventies to the mid-late eighties, the most memorable monsters emerged. Great movies!

Saw the original Alien and it's sequel Aliens after first seeing Alien vs. Predator which got me hooked and interested in them because it reminded me of watching old giant monster movies like the original Godzilla film series.

'The Thing' (1982) is so disturbing. You should do something for Evil Dead next!
