Thanks! I have been a fan on the turtles since I was a little kid when they first got really popular and the original drawings showed them with slightly larger shells than the more recent stuff. Also, the live action movie costumes made them look more proportionate with humans (too a degree, obviously to fit live actors), and they had larger/more rounded shells. I didn't watch the most recent movie, but they looked odd to me in cg. Thanks for the favorite too, I'm glad you noticed the shell!

hahaha yeah, they're coming out with another movie but they should have let me do the concept art. it looks cheesy as hell but im still gonna see it. the thing that bothers me is that firstly its all cg and its somewhat cartoony cg, not like final fantasy or anything. the turtles look even more cartoony than the actual cartoon, they have big heads and skinny thighs and bicepts but big forearms and hands and big calves and feet. so they look like popeye...

eew... not looking forward to that. I dunno if I'll see it. I mean i can barely remember the original series. Just a couple of episodes i had on tape at one point. and now i doubt i'd be able to find them easily - or cheaply.

it was all pretty cheesey my friend andy has all the episodes and live action movies. i didnt mind the live action movies, they were cheesy for a reason - to be funny haha. i mean seriously who asks vanilla ice to be in their movie.

basically, raph is the bottom right corner of a much larger picture, however hes the only part completely penciled, inked and shaded, donatello is standing right behind him but hes still line work, no shading or inking, so i scanned that part of the picture since the whole thing doesnt fit on my scanner (its on 11''x17'' paper) and i photoshoped the background out so you are just left with raph. but im glad you like it either way thanks for the fav!
