Also, I really like the design that you have given your machine characters. I always found them to be intriguing and cool, rather than frightening. In other words, I would be more likely to be impressed with their designs, rather than scared by them, if one of them happened to appear in public. Even if that is not the intended effect, I still think they are cool.

Ironic thing is this; I go to college to study computer science, and I later plan to study prosthetic devices and robotics.
Even though the structures of Mister Deino's robots seem to be built to be more scary than practical, I can actually see some of them being very useful as robotic designs. Ca's reverse-joint legs, for instance; the length and backwards bend of her legs would allow for faster running speeds in a purpose-built running robot. As goes Magnesium, with both his "ant/scorpion" and bipedal form (the latter of the two reminding me of a Deathclaw from Fallout 4) have their merits too in terms of practicality; the scorpion/ant form is stable on its six legs, as are all hexapod creatures like insects, and using the tail as a grasping unit would be practical for maintenance work in rooms with low ceilings and tight areas. The upright form looks both agile and powerful and could be used for tasks that require both (like lifting heavy loads in a relatively small space; I could see units that are built like that climbing up shelves in warehouses, lifting big boxes and crates around). The spines on all the units could be used as both antennae for interfacing with computers (receiving wireless commands and sending data back) as well as heat sinks to help keep the electronics at a low temperature.
