Description This abelisaur hails from the Late Cretaceous of France. At 16 to 20 ft, this abelisaur was small but similar to its close relatives Majungasaurus and Carnotaurus. Known from a nearly complete braincase and some other bones, its enough to show what this theropod looked like. The Pourcieux abelisaur, based on a maxilla found near the holotype of Arcovenator belongs to with it too.
