I'm on the fence about this....I'd like to do a series of photos with high contrast on black backgrounds...seems like high fashion for equines - lol.I'm not sure I succeeded with this image - maybe the image itself isn't a good contender for the effect I desire.
I'd love to hear your opinion or suggestions.
AND - this is not stock.

Perhaps if you darkened the shadows on the horse a bit? A lot of the high contrasts I've seen use dimmer lighting on the horse and have darker shadows. Using a dimmer light would take away from his gorgeous buckskin, I think, but darker shadows might work for you

he reminds me of a horse i knew few years ago, they named him majestic, i think this is a perfect name for some horse like him
