Wooo blast from the past with some AtLA action! I'm traveling all summer and brought the three seasons with me and have been re-watching bits and pieces in no order whatsoever, and I realized that I actually like Zuko a lot more than I ever did. His character's really strong and so dynamic, and I think what's-his-name, the Rufio kid, who does the voice acting, is a really good surprised shouter (I'm thinking in one of the first episodes where he falls off the boat into the ocean and gives his convincing "gah!").

In case it's not clear, here we have young Zuko fresh out of the duel with his father and Iroh following along behind.

I overcame a big obstacle with this piece, which surprisingly had nothing to do with still not admitting to myself how much I enjoy watching Avatar. Rather, since I'm traveling, I'm using my old crappy tablet, and it's not syncing right with Photoshop, so I had to work on this in little 3x4 inch chunks at a time.

It's not great, but I'm seeing Harry Potter tonight (even though I haven't seen the last two movies.......), so I wanted to get it up in case I suddenly switch and go on an HP kick instead.
