So, 4 days before Ikasu hit, I decided... I really really REALLY want to do Kanou for Ikasucon~! I had already bought all of the materials. I just didn't think I had time. It was too much work, what with having to hand-do all of the trim and such. But I did it anyways! And I was glad I did, although... Never again will I try to rush one like that. XD; (Famous last words...)Anyways, Kanou is not often cosplayed and I am quite possibly now one of 3 in the WORLD. Poor Kanou. D: He's a minor character and he's only in the last seven episodes of GetBackers, but one day... He will be loved.
... Maybe.

You are an EXCELLENT Kanou! I always thought he had a great outfit and was so misunderstood! I think he deserved to be a more major character too, I bet he is in the manga though ^_^ Awesome costume, is that a wig or your natural hair? And where did you find a huge fan like that? Wow ^_^

Thank you so much! ;o; Actually, it is my natural hair XD I had gotten it cut just before the con, but... they left it a little long in back, so it wasn't quite perfect XD;
As for the fan, I bought it in Chinatown and had to use MASSIVE amounts of spraypaint to get it white O_O I felt so bad spraying over such a pretty painting though XD;;;;

i really like Jouya Kanou, he's my fave minor GB character, but obviously one that is least loved (such a shame)

Oh, definitely going. It is my home con, after all. I plan on having one new costume, Hitsugaya from Bleach. [link] We'll see if I can pull it off - I'm finally attempting actual sewing (as opposed to faking it with stich-wich and hot glue), and prop-building.
Don't have many other costumes yet - I may re-vamp a couple older ones, if I have time.

Actually, I wore him to the cosplay contest last weekend at Youmacon, and since there was such a delay, the person in charge was entertaining everybody, and one of the things she did was say, "Okay, so everyone here who is having trouble with people recognizing who you are, stand up" XD
So needless to say, I stand up. She was generally asking people who they actually were and who they were being mistaken for. I told her I wasn't necessarily being *mistaken* for anyone, it's just NOBODY has *finished* GetBackers....... It was at this time, that TWO people in the room raised their hands and said, "We did!" XD So sad.... XDD
However, I will also be wearing him at Ohayocon~ Are you going to that?

Ah! Youma was in Troy, Michigan, the weekend after Sugoi XD It is a bit small, as it was on its second year, but the people and everything-- everything was fantastic

Hmmm, I'm actually not sure what I'll be able to finish for Ohayo... I want to do a new KH cosplay... but... I don't know if I'll have time/funds... I have *some* fabric for some, but not all for any of them xD;; Lessee, in the works I have:
- KH!Seifer (was originally supposed to do for Ohayo, but probably won't happen D: )
- TinkerAxel (shooting for ACen... It would be easiest to pull for Ohayo, but... fundage is high xD;; )
- KH2 Sora (REEEEEALLY want to do... but have NO fabric for, and is a bit complicated
- Roxas, Twilight Town outfit: (Also REEEEEALLY want to do xD Have *some* fabric for... but... no wig, no rest of outfit...)
- Roxas, Organization cloak: (... This I *do* have all the fabric for O_o ... Maybe I could
So many costumes, so little time and money! T_T
