Alright this is my Highclan 1/2 assignment :3I'm pretty proud of how Hollowgaze came out, but Shadowcliff....meh. Sorry ;A;
I did this at school xD

((To make things easier I'm slipping it into full RP~))
Shadowcliff peered around the giant creature as much as he dared, but Hollowgaze was right, there was an opening, certainly one big enough for the two of them to get in, and not big enough for anything more than one of the Sharptooth's paws.
"Right," his voice was shaking as he spoke, "I'll distract it, you make a run for there okay, I'll be in right behind you... ready?"

Hollowgaze slightly shook his head. He looked at Shadowcliff worriedly. "D-d-don't get y-yourself killed....o-ok?" Stuttered the little medicine cat, as his thin legs were shaking with fear,

"Don't worry" Shadowcliff smiled, not feeling awfully confident, but putting on a brave face, "I'm an experienced Warrior, you're one of our Medicine Cats, I need to ensure that you're safe, someone might need you," he tail twitched, "okay... now!" With the words spoken, he dived off to the side, catching the Sharptooth's attention with his sudden movement, as the creature turned its attention from Hollowgaze and onto him, swiping out one of its massive paws, that he only just managed to dodge.

Hollowgaze dashed towards the opening, huffing. As he made it, he looked back for the black warrior.

Seeing Hollowgaze's brown tail disappear safely through the opening, Shadowcliff dived suddenly between the legs of the creature, heart pounding in his chest as he bolted in the direction of what he hoped would be a flat run to the hole.
It was, but unfortunately his bad leg decided now was a time to start acting up. The whole part of his upper left leg seized up, causing him to stumbled lopsidedly.
"Mouse-dung!" He cursed, not risking a look over his shoulder as he limped and struggled into the opening, just as the great paw of the Sharptooth swiped over empty air.
Collapsing on the ground in the cave, he continued to curse, attempting to stretch out his stiff leg, but nothing would happen.

Hollowgaze looked back at the collapsed Shadowcliff. He gave a panicked squeak, not wanting to leave the warrior there. He knew himself he was weak.

"I'm okay, I'm okay" Shadowcliff insisted, attempting to stand up again, holding out his leg at a striking angle to avoid having to put pressure on it, as he turned to the Medicine Cat Apprentice, "are you okay?"

He nodded. "L-lets get away from here....q-q-quick.."

"Right... are there any tunnels back there?" He checked, glancing over his shoulder towards the back of the cave.
There was no way they could go out the front as the Sharptooth was still prowling out there.

He looked around, trying to spot a tunnel. "I-I can't s-see any.."

Collapsing back down again, Shadowcliff let out a long sigh, "I suppose we'll just have to wait for it to move on then, it shouldn't be too long hopefully before it starts to get bored..."
He knew that probably meant it would be off to bother some other poor cat, but he needed to get Hollowgaze back to camp where he could help with the injured.

He nodded with agreement, then looking at his leg. "I-is your l-leg ok."

"I'll be okay for now, it's an old injury, it just stiffens up sometimes" he explained, "I'll let you look at it when we get back...."
The Sharptooth was starting to move now. Shadowcliff limped up to the entrance, peering out slowly, waiting a good few moments after the Sharptooth had vanished from sight before flicking his tail and indicating for Hollowgaze to follow him out.

Hollowgaze padded towards Shadowcliffs side, looking around if thr creature was in sight.

Moving cautiously, and as silently as he could on three legs, Shadowcliff led the way back to camp.
He'd already heard about one of the Nightclan she-cats having needed to have her tail removed, Hollowgaze must have been out to gather herbs for her.

Hollowgaze looked around, still frightened. It's possible for the Sharptooth to come out anytime...and anywhere.

"Right, we're back."
Even if the camp wasn't guaranteed freedom from a Sharptooth attack, as there were so many of them in this area, he doubted the creature would be stupid enough to do so, not when he could pick the others off one-by-one.

"T-thank you Shadowc-cliff.." How bowed his head down in respect.

"Don't worry about it" Shadowcliff smiled, still managing to keep his voice light despite the situation, "now... I may need to ask you to have a look at my leg, just to make sure nothing's broken that is, it shouldn't be, but better safe than sorry."

He nodded lightly. He then walked towards the medicine den. "S-sit over here, I'll b-be there in a s-sec."

Sitting down where instructed, Shadowcliff tried hard not to let his mind slow and actually think about what was happening. There was a Sharptooth attacking the camp, his sister was dead and Talonstar was currently split off from the rest of them, anyone who dwelled on that would soon be no use to anyone.

Hollowgaze returned to Shadowcliff, investigating his leg. "It's not b-broken.."

"Well that's good at least" he laughed, "It probably just needs some rest, it was pretty bad while it was cold, but it's warmer now, so it should be better soon enough."

He nodded. "Have s-some rest now~"

"Sure" Shadowcliff agreed, lying down and closing his eyes with a light smile, "you are a Medicine Cat after all."

Hollowgaze gave a shy smile. "H-have a g-good rest S-shadowcliff."
