Description A great song, that embraces your soul.

It is a beautiful melody, even greater as a whole.

Well, I’d say that this one is a personal best, and hopefully a new standard that I will uphold. Just about everything regarding this one came out pretty well, starting from the initial sketch (which, as you may see, I just couldn’t drop in favor of working on my manga) to the end result you see right now. Almost everything in this piece was made experimenting; I didn’t check any coloring tutorials or such. So with that in mind I’m pretty darn proud of it, especially the smoke. So I suppose this is one yet of many in my conquest to learn more about coloring.

Don’t ask me about the background, I don’t know myself, I just kinda drew a few lines, a few dots here and there, and it grew on itself. But I suppose it looks like a stage or somesuch.

Made it in a wallpaper format because I wanted to use it as one, but feel free to use it as well.

Advanced Critique Encouraged, I ain't on this site to show off. Hit me as hard as you wish, I can take harsh feedback. (and I appreciate it if you do)

This coloring does look very good
But ...you had spacing on when you did the smoke. You can see all the circles in a way that screems photo shop (in a negative way)
Spacing can be removed on the brush setings (should be zero on most brushes, only figurative brushes like the grass brush makes a good use of it, or big spacing to get spread out dots)

Yeah, I'm pretty aware that the circles can be seen I wasn't really looking for a realistic look. But perhaps it just plainly looks bad anyway. I'll go back to it and see if I can make it look any better.

But remember that this image is at a LARGE resolution, if I am to lower the spacing to below 5% things will start to look pretty ugly, if you catch my drift.

I appreciate the feedback. So thanks.

I always work on high rez, and has spacing at the minimum of 1%

If I want distance, I prefer scather from spacing (it gives a more natural effect)

Yeah, but you probably have a better workstation than me. And also, I did use scattering to make the smoke, in conjunction with a spacing of about 10%. I liked the look, but perhaps it just looks cheaply made I wanted a "messy unfinished" look rather than a perfect one. But we'll see if I can be arsed to go back and fix it, it means a lot of extra work doing so, because I did a lot of finalizing adjustments.

It looks good this way too, it would just look a bit more natural
The spacing makes it look a bit like the entire thing is sparceling, kinda...
Smoke does sparkle in the light, but not that much thou...
