Eeesa Kappa!
Translates to "kawako" or "river-child." Kappa is a figure of Japanese folklore--a feisty, mischievous lil' troublemaker who happens to live in lakes and ponds and enjoys cucumbers. (I was told twice that the cucumbers in this plaque should have looks of terror..XDD) This kappa was inspired by the kappa from Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, so I'm putting it in the Fan Art category, just to be safe.

Haha, I think I remember that! (It's been a while since I played FoMT; I just got the one for DS a couple days ago) Kappas are adorable, though personally, I'd be rummaging for ranch dressing rather than denying the tasty cucumber in my lake. XD. Thanks!
