Friendly neighborhood aliens...
The gigantic cube is their mega city. They dont really communicate with people that much so they build these giant cubes to live in.
The cube's name is: Equilarius (Made up by ~Cytron)
"They are last Race of Chorann" -he said.
I hope you understand the scale of the cube by looking at people made buildings...
Tried a bit more depth -picture.
Photoshop.
Wacom.
About 4 hours.
No reference.

I agree. The block itself looks huge compared to everything else around it, but when you compare it to the ship, it kinda ruins the scale. I think the ship could still be in the painting, but a bit smaller to show that it is flying away/to the cube. Nice job

Its nice but the center ship ruins the scale of it. Unless its supposed to be bigger than the block. Then it would be just right. But in my opinion, the picture would be better without the ship in the center

I totally agree.. I had some real trouble with the center ship.... I guess my mistake is in the lighting of it... it doesnt fit there...
I could try to erase it..

To me, guess I should have said this before, it looks like the ship is after the block. If you had put the ship in the block's shadow and a bit smaller(bout half its size

From artistic point of view: very well done. Only thing I have to say is that without your little description of what the cube was, I would have had no idea that it was housing aliens or whatever, but thats really all I can say.
