This is just.. a little thing I've been working on for the past three days or so... Actually, it's basically a request from because I asked her what she'd ilke to see from me... I'm not sure if I accomplished exactly what she requested, but... it's something with brighter colors and a more detailed background. Also, I used no blurring or smudging in this.. just straight up lines on top of lines on top of =3=;; you get the idea.So yes
the trees look a bit strange.. as I didn't really base them off an exact type of tree- but I just wanted that sort of.. bright colors in the falltime feel of it. *scratches head* I thought after working on this for so long, I'd have more to say about it, but... that's about it my vampire character, Diallo, getting worried about avoiding the sunlight, I guess ;_; I hope you like it, Hettar >_<;;

The angle of his hips makes the pose look bit uncomfortable but otherwise this is very lovely pic.

Awww, thank you very much! Hahahaha, I do try to put up the most finished pieces I can! And thank you.. it's not very often I get in the mood to do something detailed like this? But.. I kinda felt like it. And yeah- I totally agree, I should have gotten more reference for the pose- alas!! I could not fix it then, and I haven't opened this pic back up to pick at it since. Maybe when another mood strikes me, I'll try to do another zany forest scene.

This is beautiful, one of my favorites. The colors are gorgeous. I also like the letter-box format. Gives it nice one-thirds two-thirds division of space.

Wow...... this is gorgeous.... @_@ The trees look fine in my opinion, not strange at all. More just... well a little otherworldly, but in a good way. I love the detail, and his expression is perfect, you nailed anxious right on the head. Fine work. I'm going to enjoy watching your art. ^_^

ha! I know that feeling... since everyone had their portfolios today I went through a bunch and saw pages of comics that I recognised and was like "YOU DID THAT ONE COMIC ON THE WALL!" <~ because there's only one comic on the wall you know, no need to be specific. Or "YOU DID THAT ONE IN THE ANTHOLOGY!" once again, no need to be specific. Anyway, it was a day of revelations and fangirly behavior.

oh Yes Yes Yes, I like it! The colors on the leaves are gorgeous, and so appropriate for the upcoming season. (and there are so many of them i can't imagine how long it took to do them) yes there's a really good texture to the tree bark. the detail looks good. on the guitar too. quite realistic. nice purple tint to his hair. i like the eyes how they glow and his full lips. nice thin fingers. i like the softness of the demin. his hips seem like they're more tilted off the ground than they should. That red spot on the roots of the tree almost look like a camera spot, you know? kind of interesting. I hope the sunlight doesn't melt him. He he he.
