"Eugh... guess I'll have to find a new juice bar if they know me well enough to write me this."Jalen at an interstellar juice barΒ Β he likes to go there since it's never too busy, but it doesn't compare to the juice bar back on his home planet in his opinion.
drew this back on the 25th of October woW, it's my first time trying to draw a character of mine in an environment :V it's pretty rushed and sloppy in some spots, but over all i'm happy with it.
critique on perspective and colors would be appreciated!

this piece is really beautiful,the colors are just perfect and this tradional feeling is just refreshing
the only mistakes with this is that jalen doesnt seem to fit with the rest of the piece,his color pallett is too cold for the rest of the envirioment
if you wanted to use this kind of perpective the character shouldnt be tranding like this,the perspective is like,you are walkig into a room and the camera is tilted up (trying me best toexplain it),to jalen fit in the perspective would need to be just a straight like,where you cant see the rest of ground build after jalen,only the wall.
overwall,this piece is really beautiful,just perspective is a bit off

bit of a story actually! personal trauma and events caused him to need open heart surgery, since the heartbreak was enough to physically damage his heart muscles & valves ;w; on his home planet they don't really understand how to perform very good surgeries, so he has to keep the stitches in to prevent constant bleeding
