After the development of HCHIX the world was split in two. Those who supported Artholo created their own land called Firmament. Those who opposed Artholo chose to stay and dwell in the Sub levels of earth. The sub levels became a place consumed by crime, corruption, and all manners of depravity. The streets of Sub City were lined with dilapidated buildings, their crumbling facades mirroring the shattered hopes of its inhabitants. Gangs ruled the shadows, their presence felt in every alleyway and dimly lit corner. Poverty and despair were constant companions in this forsaken city, where the faint glimmers of hope struggled to pierce through the suffocating darkness. Sub City stood as a stark reminder of the depths to which humanity could descend, a cautionary tale of a society's collective failures.
