No worries..Koi means love...Love is war...you had it right. Koi is also a type of fish...So i guess it all comes down how you want to use the word in translation. Seriously, it would depend on the kanji symbol you use...but since you are writing it in romaji..you should be fine!

Koi wa sensou: ζγ―ζ¦δΊ - the first kanji means love. Similar to the japanese "ai". If it were "This is love", then the title would be Kore wa sensou: γγγ―ζ¦δΊ.
