Wonderful pose, I been looking for a belly dancer pose for some time now for assignment at school. It turned out amazing [link] and I hope you really enjoy it.
I want to thank you for your time effort in your stock art, with the back drop all in black,made it easy to mask out the image. Also your other stocks are amazing. You just became my favorite stock artist.

Laughing Vampire, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and tastes vary. Personally, I think Delightful Stock is a very attractive woman withflawless and lovely skin, beautiful hair and a gorgeous female shape. So what if a dancer isn't from the culture that the dance originates from? That's the great thing about art - it transcends race and colour and is an expression of the heart. Even a plain dancer can become beautiful with the movement of dancing and a physically beautiful woman can dance without soul and be unappealing to watch.
My only criticism would be of the outfit. The colour suits and the top is cute but (and no offence)...where is the rest of your outfit? I belly dance also but never in my undies. I presume this outfit was just for the purpose of the photo and not for performances.
In any case, never let anybody stop you from what you obviously enjoy.

As for the costume - these photos were taken about a year before i actually began bellydancing. This was a kitchy halloween costume that i received as a gift and thought i might take a couple of photos in for stock. To see some of my actual dance costumes that i perform in you can look at my more recent (within the past year or so) stock submissions

Hi, I had a look at your gallery. You have some great shots and some really lovely belly dancing outfits (I'm jealous LOL). That guy (girl?) was just such a jerk and plain wrong because you're gorgeous - anybody would think so. Maybe he just has a problem with belly dancing? or Anglo Saxon people? He should get a life. It is not nice to see caucasian women that are veeeeeeeery white belly dance, you have to be arab, african, latino or asian o bellydance

I was unaware i was breaking any rules by bellydancing. Maybe you should inform all of the caucasian women around the world who belly dance that they are messing things up. Better let the Gothic Belly dancers (who wear makeup to make themselves even more pale) know that they're in a lot of trouble too.

I don't mean that all caucasian belly dancers are not nice,,, I just think that you really don't fit like a belly dancer and the rest of women who look like you doesn't either

Well that is your personal opinion. I've met many bellydancers who are just as white as myself (and even whiter to be fair) and they look beautiful in dance costumes and can bellydance just as well as the more "ethnic" women i've seen dance.
How good or bad a dancer is is not dependent on skin (or hair) color - in the same way that so many other things in our world are not dependent on skin color. What you think looks unpleasant another person might find very appealing.
