My home country, America, suffered a bit from the Vietnam War, too.
There were many protests in America that didn't want America to join the Vietnam war. It wasn't fun at all. There were many young students, mothers and African Americans protested against in a non violent way, but it soon lead the police to harm people.
Especially in the Kent State and Jackson State shootings.
Many Americans that were caring for the Agent Orange also suffered from it, too.

Honestly, I was never born during the Vietnam War era (I'm a 90's child). I just feel sorry for the people that put themselves in wars that harmed innocent people that didn't deserve to be involved in a war.

I feel sorry Vietnam that suffered from the horrible after effects of the war and that country itself self is only acknowledged for a war that shouldn't happen.
I feel sorry for any country that's suffering from from that.

I'm definitely a anti war person. Of course I'd never protest against them, because no one listens to me and I might make a idiot of myself.

Thank you for this long and thoughtful comment>v<
I've heard about Vietnam War protests in America and I really appreciate what they tried to do. I'm very sorry for their loss and suffering during the war.
War always has its way of hurting the wrong people_the ones that never support it and were/are forced into it.
I was never a protester myself but everyone of my country have suffered from war or known enough about it. We know that the only time we need to stand up and fight is when there is no other way for us to protect our country. But even when we do it, we do it to protect our people and our rightful land, not to harm the others.

Your welcome!
It's really sad that Vietnam or any country had to put with this. It's sad that people only recognize Vietnam for the war, instead of a country that has spend thousands of years on fighting for independence and staying that way. Vietnam's lucky that she's developing into a more modern country, but sadly recognized for a war that didn't that much much attention or support. It's just as sad as the Korean War or the Forgotten war. America nor Russia aren't total saints to the two Korean countries, either.
Or to put it in a better way no country is a absolute saint when it comes to helping other countries in war or any place. We're that messed up.

Honestly, I'm a twenty old German Greek autistic woman that was born and raised in America. I never hated nor cared on anyone's race or religion. They're just human beings. The only people that I don't see are human beings are bigots that harm innocent people, rapists, molesters or people that have no regrets on killing innocent people.

People that only care about themselvel but never do a thing for others don't have the right to be considered a human being. They can't be a complete human when they only have the 'animal' part in them. And even some animals have feelings and care about the others more than them. It's sad to see that they can only see thing one way and think that what they see is right>,<

Indeed!
Most once innocent people may end up being heavily influenced by a horrible person that could lead them into doing bad things to innocent people when they invade or raise racism.

Yeah, that also happens when people know what they done is wrong but they don't have the gut to stand out and fight against it. They're afraid that they would get involved or lose since they're on the minority side.

Indeed.
In Nazi Germany during WW2. Children would TELL on their own PARENTS if they didn't agree with the Nazis, because of the Hitler youth program influenced them into becoming monsters.

Wow, I haven't heard of that but that sounds horrible O,O
We can easily see this from the bully problem too. To be honest, if my friends isn't with me, maybe I myself won't have the gut to stand up against them *Well, but I will if they're bullying my friends*

I'd never survive in Nazi Germany or anywhere in Europe during WW2, because I'm autistic. The disabled people are sent to camps as experiments, because the Nazis want perfectly normal that are blond hair and blue eyes. (I'm German with some Greek in me and I'm a brunette with brown eyes with pale skin. Common trait to many German people, according to the people that told me that)

I've never been bullied, at least I think. I also didn't have much friends in my school years, because my classes always changed so I couldn't see them as often. Most of the people that I hanged with didn't much in common with me, either.

Well, my best friends often happen to be the ones that share the love for manga/anime or drawing with me. In Vietnam, we study in consistent classes with consistent classmates for the first 12 years even with different subjects. That's why we would be able to stay close and keep in touch with each other. But that also explain why it was hard to make close friends in colleague since the classes started to change like you said.

In both my high school and college, I've hardly got to see the people that I've see the most each school year.
At least in my college, I've had easier to pay attention to the teacher during class, because there's fewer people there. In my high school classes, I had a lot of classmates that were to the teachers. While I wasn't a perfect student with perfect grades nor teacher's pet. My teachers and I got along. They were glad that I occasionally asked for help or finished my work, because at least I'm doing something to graduate from school.
I'm not sure about Teachers in Vietnam or any other country, but in the USA, the teachers here are paid less. Depending on the students that they have. Most teachers are stuck with students that antagonize them.

In Vietnam, most teachers got low salary too but their salary don't usually depend on the students they have, more like depend on which subject they teach, which school they work for,... Only in a few cases that the students have to voice their opinions which would mostly involve serious matters. But in Vietnam, if you're a great teacher, you will always have the respect you deserve no matter what

Cool! I'm pretty that it's the same in America. I'm pretty sure that the fun and friendly teachers are usually the ones that are well loved by the students.
In my school years it's mostly the art teachers with a great attitude and makes fun. My art teachers were more rememberable for the funny moments in class. Though, I did make my English teacher and class laugh by calling a couple of rude classmates a 'bunch of donkeyholes', because in the older days 'ass' translates into donkey. I got scout free, because I used a 'more appropriate' way. XD

XD Your story reminded me of a Math teacher (he didn't teach my class) who is very funny. My school has this kind of annual lottery where students will be given tickets and they'll choose the winners by a spinning dish. The Math teacher I mentioned usually be the one who run the show. He always make thing funny by saying we can use what we learn in class to figure out how many percent we have to be the winner (well, we never actually do the Math. We students are too lazy to do thatXD).

OMG! I'm pretty bad at the higher levels at math. XD
If students like me weren't in class, then my math teachers would have given up, because all what the other students do is make animals noises and disrespect them.
I've seen several fanarts of the APH Asians are in a school AU and Vietnam's like sleeping on the desk in most of them. She's so cute

XD Sleeping in class, texting under the table, "preparing" for the subject A while in subject B class,... she could be doing all that because that what we actually doXD

Pfft! Vietnam would be like the true master on doing something sneaky in class. XD
I've also seen on fanart where Asians brought their pets to school. China brought his panda, Taiwan came in riding her water buffalo and Thailand's elephant messed with China's sainty. XD

Unfortunately I don't. This plaza also has another statue I didn't photograph that commemorates the soldiers. I sometimes shop in Houston's 'Chinatown' which is a conglomerate of communities including 'little Saigon'. I'll try to remember to look next time I'm there.
