Description
After so many struggles, the expecting pidgeot has finally set up a place she can call home. She cries, as she then caress her swollen middle in relief. She was finally safe from the outside world, as she anticipated the arrival of three new hatchlings.------------------

Well, it was an interesting draw. A little bit of story for it brings something special to the whole thing. It isn't much, but I hope it was something.

For me I'd say the story would have to be stronger in order for me to feel sentimental about a picture. Without knowing too much of the context, it's not easy just to feel for anyone.

I know. It takes a while to develop something like that. If more thought went into the characters and the conflicts, it can bring some interesting results that can bring some sense of emotion. But it's not easy to craft such thing.

It can be done in a visual medium just as easily as a written medium I'd say.
You probably need to just work a bit more in looking into how to invoke emotion into your art.

A lot artists have decided whether or not they want to look into improving their art style versus staying the way they are because it's what's most comfortable for them.
Doing things either way has its plus and minuses, so choose the route most relevant to your interests.
