At the edge of Summit Lake, beneath the peak of Mt. Evans, there is a massive glacial valley that drops out beneath the surrounding mountains. Here there are sheer faces of rock hundreds of feet in height. Reading the history written in the stone of these walls is breathtaking.Related content
