First of all this does not work on ios 5.1 second you need to be jailbroken to apply this .

Hi you can do this by installing iconoclasm from cydia .

Gridlock and something to resize your icons with: Bigify+ or Springtomize. Springtomize can also make a custom springboard grid of icons.
