"After weeks of fighting, the push into the city is finally complete. However, the battle is far from over.Soldiers marched through the rubbles under the heavy smoke to the front line in this urban hazard. One of them curriously scaled a pile ruble to gain some vantage point to see what lies ahead. No longer this city is meant for the living."

Got the idea to draw this after watching a marathon of war films.

Wow, this image really does have impact. The smoke and haze effects look great, and the composition works well. And then, there's the fact that I just love apocalyptic imagery.

Nice, the smoke trails in the background are quite effective. I find it interesting that you didn't make the rubble and debris more detailed.
This is easily one of your best pieces of work because its sets a mood and atmosphere more effectively than any character's facial expression could.
