Today was not a good "free time for art day" at school. xD

Only had 30 minutes to draw today-all in English because we had a substitute teacher. Classmates were talking about the shooting....what a terrible thing to have happened. D`:

So...enjoy my 30 minute sketch of one of the rare species that lives in Echo Canyon-the Lion Dragon!

The Lion Dragon lives in group of 5-9 individuals. They are a subspecies of the more common Maned Dragon, as they both share long, thick-furred manes with a fluffed tail.

They are carnivorous dragons, however, they eat relatively little, and can survive on a leg of deer for one week with no difficulty.

Note that their name is based on their thick, golden manes, and gleaming golden scales. Not based on other lion-like traits. xD
