There is a deviant who goes by the name rivalsecret. He’s known for scamming artists by commissioning them but not paying for them. It is also known that he hides comments that calls him out on his wrongdoings. He sent me a note and wanted to commission me but he didn’t even reply after I sent him a response. Unfortunately, there are artists who already got scammed by him. I suggest everyone to block and report him.
Here is one example of an artist that got scammed by him:
Remember to ALWAYS start a commission after a payment is made. I also suggest accepting commission payments using the commission widget instead of PayPal. I get that it takes extra time to receive the payment but you know that it’s secure and you’ll receive it for sure. There are way too many risks with selling digital art using PayPal aka chargebacks and I would refrain from using PP as a payment method unless you’re doing emergency commissions.
When you give color, make sure to add your signature, because He will re-upload your work into his account, without giving you credit for your work.

They said they forget the people’s names cause some took so long to draw, I doubt that, but I don’t think they are a scammer, only people Who are accepting their requests are getting scammed, I always ask for points before I do a piece, I’m just not a dumbass not to ask for them after I’ve drawn the piece XD so it sounds like the people getting scammed are just easy prey to me

Scammer AlertA deviant called rivalsecret has been contacting countless artists and receiving free arts for a good couple of months, now. Most are requests, to his credit, but recently, he started 'buying' commissions; meaning, he orders them, doesn't pay the artist and one or two things happen. The artist either 1) asks for payment first and he doesn't reply, or 2) they finish the art, and he reuploads them without mentioning the actual artist. Oh, and fun little tidbit; he does delete comments saying he's a scammer.

He takes advantage of it, He is lying, by saying He pay with points, but He just takes their work ,without paying. and then, re-upload the stolen work in his gallery..

A fraudulent scheme performed by a dishonest individual, group, or company in an attempt obtain money or something else of value.
he has scammed a lot of users..using a fraudulent scheme (sending a bunch of notes (always the same note
), to random deviants) to obtain free art, which has some value.
not everyone who gets the notes does commissions, many of them take them as a request, but this guy re-uploads their art, without giving any credit.
