Description
The original covering, since this was a wearable costume, had small orange feathers. I decided, since only the mannequin would be wearing it, to try larger feathers. These are turkey feathers with the quills clipped off. Cotton balls support the feather and it's glued in place with hot glue sticks. The effect looked good when laying flat, but I would soon find out it wasn't so good when the cape was snapped into place.
