Description
Small Court of the Dresden Castle, or Residenzschloss, with its very well done modern glass roof. Usually bringing together old architecture with modern elements looks kind of bad, but they really made this work. it makes for an interesting view for sure.
made the sketch for this piece, which was a birthday present, sitting in the court and finished it with watercolors later at home (with some pictures i took for reference).
if you're visiting Dresden, you should get a ticket for the Castle, if you're interested in history.
