Your use of impasto techniques here is impressive in literally creating a texture to "feel" the emotion of this piece. It is mess and not exactly uniform, which works to add discomfort to the piece. As for the figure itself, it is an interesting point that you make its head near the center of the painting so we can focus on the unsettling lack of eyes. Overall, a very disconcerting, but impressive piece!
