Your spring had not yet bloomed
When mine ocean turned to ice
and sent you cold and gasping
burning to mine eyes
Siren
drawn to music
Mermaid
drawn to fire
you fill all time between us
longing to expire.
I've really missed drawing these two...my student-tutor/love-hate/berserk-restraint but nonetheless beautiful favorite couple.
They have about thirty years between them... considering of course, that Touha was reborn into a new body...so that, physically, the gap decreases to about 13 years...

I also learned how not to draw everything.

i just love everything there!!! the thickness of the lines on the hair of the girl is perfect! and its detailed too!!! i like it! 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
I used a brush for the arches (over and over and over) ...just black on white. Then I put a lot of gray textured brush for the "mist".. then I inverted it. ^^ A little more tweaking took place after that... but that's the general how-to.

Thank you~ it's mostly in the color... textured brushwork... and then just a little bit (faded to less than 50%) of effect (believe or not... plastic wrap, for this one) ^^

i know people like that...even me. i picture i work on for like 3 hours looks pretty bad compared to a short 45 min picture. Maybe because hte ones that take longer have more detail and we get lazy after awhile *shrugs*

But hehe... my time span ranges between 8hours (pencil to photoshop) to several days... 3 hours is pretty quick!
