Description Which is better, 1 light or 2 lights? I am a big fan of the 1 light on many of the 3D art works I see and create but sometimes I get torn on which is ultimately the better image. Which do you like? Download for best view.

The two-light version reveals much more detail, which I would think you would want your viewer to see to appreciate the work you've put into the image.

Thank you for your comment. I am torn between the 2 images. I do agree with someone viewing all the details, having said that it is appealing to me to have some space that is left up to the imagination. Also I feel in some images it looks more realistic when lighting is not perfect like you would find in a studio.

The 2-light version pops more, I think. the 1-light version is overall dimmer, and her skin tone is more pallid.

Yes, the fist one sets a dark menacing mood, but I like the right one better.

Really depends on the mood you're trying to set; the 2-Light setup has more of a pinup feel ...
Both look good to me!
