-Prologue
Born and raised in the slums, Freya had to learn how to survive in the slums with her sickly mother, although fortunately she also had the support of other older residents in the area. When her mother died, she formed a small band of thieves with the children to help feed themselves and others to survive. They continued to thrive as they set their eyes on more valuables to earn more, and thus inevitably gathered unwanted attention from the authorities.
One little mistake was all it took for the group to be captured, and the group members allowed Freya to escape to safety while she promised to come back to save them. However the captured members were sentenced to death before she could fulfill her promise.
Despite still grieving and regretting her actions, she still had no choice but to continue committing theft to survive, but it did not take long until another group of unsatisfied bandits came to notice her as she continued targeting valuables.
She was ambushed on the way home from a raid one day, cornered and tired, ready to give up until another rabbit came to her aid.
-BJBB
Lea was her savior’s name, and she stuck with him as she joined the brigade. Life in the brigade was much better than having to steal just to be allowed to leave, least to say. Food, clean water, shelter, and most especially comrades and friends. She was more than elated to finally have others to talk to and share things with again, but more than anyone she liked staying around Lea the most. They took missions and hung out together a lot, and it felt nice to be with someone. It took some time for her to realize that she had developed a crush on him, but being the angsty teenager she was, seeing him with another was more than excruciating. Time went by as Lea became more occupied with his girlfriend and job as he was promoted, congratulating him was the easiest yet the hardest thing she could do. All the same as everyone else seemed to have moved on in their lives but she felt useless and guilt, even more as the memory of her previous friends haunted her.
As she was being held back by her feelings, she felt her place within the circle of friends gradually fades away, that she no longer belonged with them.
She gradually distanced herself from everyone she knew in the brigade and once she saved enough, she left Pearson, leaving what little she had in her room untouched to buy time until someone realizes she was gone for good...or so she thought.
-Outside
Life as a rabbit outside Pearson was unmistakably much worse than within the city, although she was somehow able to manage by with the skills she had honed while she was in the brigade. Aiming for small targets couldn’t fill her much and she risked having her face recognized fast, thus she went for extreme valuables and gathered money from the black market instead. This went on for a while until one fateful day she stumbled upon a laboratory experimenting with the TSRG genes on human children. She was lost trying to get out with another stolen valuable in her hands, she met Fa’Rei, the only living-- conscious subject left within the building.
While she of course attempted to free him, the residents of the building had noticed and announced her presence as an intruder. Fa’Rei offered to help her out of the place as he had the whole place memorized if Freya would help him retrieve his family heirloom. In a panic, Freya agreed, she picked the lock of his cage and they escaped the place safely.
While she took time to prepare to retrieve the promised heirloom, the item had been transferred to a ferry carrying rabbit slaves to Pearson. She was reluctant to go near the city again, but a promise was still a promise and the both of them snuck into the the cage of slaves, waiting to strike once they arrive.
The ferry docked and they were quickly moved into the basement of a building. The both of them snuck out of the cage, intending to distract the security with the alarm once they get the item on their hands to let the captured slaves free. The whole thing was however set up to trap the both of them and they were ambushed with far more force than they could handle.
Freya let Fa’Rei escape as she bought time fending off their pursuers, but was overwhelmed by their number in no time. Lea once again came into the scene and took them down, saving her from another pinch. She had attempted to leave Lea to avoid being recognized, and as it seemed like he could handle himself, but she butted in when he was about to be attacked from his blind spot.
They struggled together and was able to escape safely with Fa’Rei afterwards, and though with mixed feelings, she complied to return to the HQ with Lea along with Fa’Rei.
-Back again
Freya soon found herself slowly recovering her cheery side as she was reunited with her old friends. She had immediately found her place again within the brigade and started befriending others as she tried to help Fa’Rei find his footing again.
Reconciliation with Lea did not take as much as she had feared, and they soon find their relationship mended in no time. They fill each other up on their life and started hanging out together again, this time fully aware that she no longer feels what complicated shit that was haunting her before.
With lighter feelings, she started working eagerly, again for the brigade.
She worked her way up a few ranks, made some friends and completed some missions. Everything was going fine and little did she know it was going to get a little better. The higher-ups (namely mostly Lea) had appointed her to the position as an Overcard as the head-thief, which she gladly accepted. Chances to hang out with Lea more? Hell yeah sign her the fuck up.
-As another
She was appointed as an Overcard along with a few others. While her workload as the head-thief had increased, she didn’t find it so bad as she was able to keep in touch with a few close friends, and that was enough for her.

Running around the city to cover for civilians had turned her into a bloody mess, accompanied by non-fatal gunshot wounds. The blood loss however was almost too much and she lost consciousness while holding onto Fa’Rei as they reached a safer spot. Her DG-T was broken, with a bullet stuck on it. With Fa’Rei’s DG-T nowhere to be found and the sun rising, he couldn’t very well get the bloody Freya through the crowd, not to mention with his low physical endurance. With no other choice, he hid Freya a little bit further into the alley and ran to find his device, hoping he could find another member or his DG-T even a little sooner.
He immediately contacted the HQ of the emergency as soon as he found the device just near the entrance of the alley and immediately ran back to find Freya hoping he wasn’t too late, but to his surprise someone was already tending to her wounds. He was taken aback, slightly suspicious of the newcomer’s presence, however was grateful that he didn’t have to drag a corpse back to the HQ.
-Current
The moment she regained consciousness completely was the moment she recalled what had happened to her. While she did try her best, she felt worthless that she had to burden another for her recklessness again. After seeing the news and quickly catching on whatever is happening, her instincts kicked in and she immediately knew what Lea was going to do, what Lea had decided to do. She knew him all these years, his kindness despite his job to kill, his awkwardness in communicating others his thoughts and concern, his strength that allowed him to lead and keep the organization in order, and what he would choose to do to to protect what’s important for him. If he had decided, she would believe in his choices, that there was no other way at the moment.
However, she won’t ask. She won’t follow him, she won’t tell him to take her with her. If he chose to go alone, then it’s something he could handle, and he’s leaving things in the others’ care.
It may become slightly...very lonely, but she decided to send him off with a biggest grin she could muster, and resolved to support his choice and the brigade with everything she has, live to the fullest again, especially because someone had saved her from the brink of death.
