Description
I headcanon John being 30-40 years younger than Scrooge, I mean it makes sense. (btw I know Rosa drew it differently, but I don't care anymore. The duck universe is too broad, and my HC isn't impossible.) I have a story in mind for this drawing, I'll try to draw a comic some day.

Thanks! I used to think that Rosa's version was the Only True Version, but right now now I changed my mind about that and Rosa in general. He did a great job on many stories, but I don't worship him anymore.

There is no such thing as a right or wrong version but I like Rosa's very much. I love how many work he put into the details and correctness of the stories. Most disney drawers don't care about history, correctness or logical facts, but he did, so I'll always respect him as the best comic creator ever. 
Though for example, I also quite like the blonde lady that always annoys Scrooge (don't know her English name. Brigitte maybe? In German it's Gitta) and she doesn't exist in Rosa/Barks world.

Yes, as I said the duck universe is too broad. But Rosa MAINLY accepted only Barks' stories, when he wrote his. I do like how researched his stories are, he put so much effort into his work.
