Description
Original is 16 x 20 inches / ~ 40 x 50 cm.I've used china ink (black), acrylic ink (white) and watercolor (yellow) on a Canson mat board "indigo blue" colored.
Painted with brushes and quill.
When I watch this image, I keep wondering "what is this rider has to do, to be out there, and keep going on, braving the cold like that !? It must be creepily important !!!"

The light from the lantern makes this image. Love how the light casts upon the subject matter. Gives the image a dramatic mood. Beautifully done.

I'm sorry for this delayed answer; I had a litterature for science-fiction-fantasy-fantasic recently and didn't had much time... Ironicly, I was presenting the original of this horseman (among other originals), as it was for illustrating the cover of a SFFF magasine
