Here it is everyone, a new addition to the creature design roster. Last time I went for a mammal-like monster, but with this drawing I decided to make something a little bit different: a fish + reptile hybrid dragon. At first I wanted to design it like an electric knifefish, but as I was drawing this thing started to become more and more like a dragon or sea serpent. Even though it wasn't exactly what I had in mind, I actually liked the direction the design was going so I have decided to keep it on. And then, here it is, an aquatic dragon monster, a first in my small design series.

Some of the knifefish influence can still be seen in the design though, such as the presence of a well developed anal fin, long body and notable sexual dimorphism (altough in electric knifefishes, the male is often the bigger one). I hope you like the results.

If you want me to draw a monster design for you, I will be more than happy to do it as a commission. I can also draw other stuff if you want too.
