Like his GF's father Edgar Vermillion was interested in studying technology to improve his magic, Phillip Charles Chilinae (or Chopper) was interested in studying magic to improve technology. When he thought he finished NBM laser and holo-neck (which he earlier tested on his clones), he needed a speciment to see how others will feel about the changes. But the trouble is the speciment had to be "virgin" (unaffected by nbm yet). Luckily, Margaret's friend Rin Hagihara the Kirin volunteered for this.Related content
