Thank you. I remember having a lot of problems when I was to print out the copy I keep for myself and the color management screwed up the colors. Now I've finally figured out how to set up the printer properly, but it's the first memory that comes to mind with that picture. xD;

No, my boyfriend is allergic, so sadly, I can't have any furry pets for the time being. I did use some references later on in the picture when I noticed, that there was no way the dog's tail would fit into the picture XD; But else, no references were used for it. :3

My printer turns out to be a even bigger hassle. It refuses to print the colors right and has gone completly bananas. >.<

Hm, if I remember correctly I ended up scouting the net for tails XD;;; At some point I ended up dangerously close to the upper edge of the paper. But despite that no references were used for this card. :3

Hm, I havn't planned that much yet. But since I enjoy drawing them, I'm positive that more will follow. Right now I'm working on another watercolor-painting and that one will have a fox and some horses. :3

Hm, good question. I think I did the outlines in the evening and the coloration the days after. I usually take rather long, since I'm often coloring several layers, in order to get the shadowing right. I do remember I spent a lot of time experimenting with the printer to get it to print the colors halfway right (likes to keep a copy as memory), but that was ofc after the card was finished. Anyways, after that I had lost every sence of how much time I had spent on the card.

Yeah, I really like this piece a lot, and I think you should be really proud of yourself. I looked through your gallery (very quickly, though) and I like this one the most. I also love the one called "Siesta in the jungle", but I kinda feel sorry for the unfortunate tiger.

I'm having that experience with watercolors, they are pretty relaxing (although, not on the painting I'm doing right now. X.X;;
