Description Zoe playing tag with some involuntary Natu, who were just about to gorge themselves on berries when she happened upon them...

This picture turned out a lot different than what I had in mind. I wanted to show Zoe's untroubled and jolly nature, as opposed to Lucifer's mischievous and troubled character, while keeping the whole picture simple. The first background was simple indeed, but way too colorful to allow Zoe to stand out, so I ditched it and began to scribble leaves... Many leaves. And what do you know, this background ended up just as colorful as the first one, but with a ton of bonus details! %D Now Lucifer's portrait looks very flat next to it for some reason...

Oh well, I'm still mourning the summer, while singing tunes like Jingle Bells (I have a habit of singing Christmas songs in the summer and the opposite during winter) and here we go. A picture that is just right for the season! Only one more pic to go and I can finally post my temporary team-app (at my pace the official app will most likely be available before that).

Thank you! I love the colors in this one. I would just wish that autumn would look like that more often. Where I live, it usually gets washed away by rain...

This year we had a very dry October, so we actually got a golden autumn. *__*

How about summer now, is it hot enough?

I ended up spending most of the summer indoors and ignoring the garden, so I hardly recall the weather. xD;;;; I shouldn't do the same mistake again this coming summer. (sorry for the terribly late reply >_< )

Here I go with even more late reply!
How was your summer this year?

XD We're the kings and queens of late replies! Extremly productive plush wise. We had a very hot and dry summer this year (really extreme with wild fires in some areas, nothing close to here though luckily. The dry weather kept the grass from growing, so instead of mowing the grass day in and out I got to make plushies instead! Now we've gotten rain and the yard has exploded, but it's too wet to mow. %D;;;; I seariously need some sheep or something to grase outside.

I've had various tablets from Wacom over the years and I would always stick with the brand. Good quality, nice pens and no batteries inside the pens like some other brands atleast used to have some years ago.

Tbh I've never tried it myself, but I've heard from multiple sources that you can't go wrong with Wacom.

demiveemon In reply to yyvonne [2013-10-17 20:32:05 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! They're an investment, but a good one. The only thing I don't like about Intuos, is that the cable is removable instead of just a fixed part of the tablet like it used to be on older models. I've had some issues with the miniUSB glitching, because the socket wasn't soldered properly. Luckily my dad was able to fix it.Β

I really anjoyed drawing the Natus. I'm not too fond of their original design, but they sure came in handy.
Yes, Zoe is really hyper. Lots of energy flowing through her body. I imagine her zooming all over the place. xD

Natu are some cute Bird Pokemon, i like those types of Pokemon in general!Β

Especially Hoothoot & Noctowl!

Really hyper indeed, and she would make great friends with Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which is another hyper character!Β

Oh dear. XD I can't stand the modern My little pony. I liked them a lot better the way they were when I was a kid. The new ones are too much Power Puff Girly...

I understand what you mean about them, because they look very girly indeed!Β

But it's not that annoying girly stuff as with make-up & clothes shopping! Because i hate those things!Β

I like it so much because of all the love that it contains & friendship!

I don't know, but it makes me so happy!

But we still have our own opinions on them, which we must all accept of one another!

demiveemon In reply to MsJiggly93 [2013-10-18 23:42:42 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. The world would be a much happier place if we were more tolerant towards everyone having their own opinions.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MsJiggly93 In reply to demiveemon [2013-10-18 23:46:54 +0000 UTC]

That's true!Β

And i will respect people there opinions about the things that they don't like if they at least don't say that it is stupid or childish, like my 24-year old brother says about the main series of Pokemon... and a lot of other people that i know!Β

That makes me sad!

Sometimes views change over time. I often notice that with things I know I was a big fan and impressed with as a child. Seeing them again after maybe ten or twenty years, often has a bittersweet notion, as you discover, that it's very different to how you remembered it. Still, a child or young person views the world very different as opposed to an adult, even if they're the same person. Keeping that in mind, there really isn't a need to put someone else off for how they feel about something you dismay yourself. *rambles on without ever getting to the statement she wanted to make*

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MsJiggly93 In reply to demiveemon [2013-10-19 18:18:20 +0000 UTC]

Views sure change over the time!Β

For example: I loved watching shows like Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents & South Park!Β

But when i was younger i didn't realized that there nature is not so good as i though they were!Β

(dark humor, gross scenes, discrimination, racism)Β

But i will respect people watching those shows, but if they are being mean about the things that i really like, i just have the nerve in saying that the shows are stupid that they watch!Β

But brothers are most of the time very mean, nothing really to do about it, just a little but still...Β

A lot of younger siblings have that problem, i know that all to well!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

But those bad things that we encounter make us stronger if we overcome them!Β

I was much weaker in the past then i am now, sometimes you can't imagine that things change so much!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

demiveemon In reply to MsJiggly93 [2013-11-03 17:52:31 +0000 UTC]

That's right. The past does have a huge impact on what you become. Sometimes even things you didn't consider life changing when they happened, but might recognize as important when looking back and comparing with who you were then and who you are now, and how you react on and interact with other people.
