Journal Entry:
"Today I had the chance to observe one of the more larger types of Grimm. I had been walking til midday, following the trail of the river, when I happened to spot what I initially thought to be a row of white rocks embedded with weapons from a distant. As I got nearer however, I came to realize that I had been staring at the back of a much larger Grimm. I hurriedly lay flat on the rocks and brought up my telescope in order to observe it from a safe distance. The first thing to note was its immense size. It had to be more than 6 meters tall and 15 or so meters in length. Its back was to me and had to wait before it moved in order to get a clearer look of it. It had been gnawing on a large chunk of meat which I theorized to be from one of the local wildlife. Immediately I noticed that it sported two sharp looking horns upon its forehead. Its powerful jaw made short work of the remaining meat that it had been gnawing on, devouring it in mere seconds. As it started to move away, I took note of the weapons jutting from its back. It appeared that its back was truly guarded against much attacks due to the armor plates being positioned so close to each other and layered upon each other. My attention was drawn to its tail which was quite long and ended in what appeared to be a sharp bladed edge which extended from the armor plates upon its back. Initially I gauged its speed to be slow until a stray vulture which strayed too close to the Grimm proved me wrong. With speed that its large frame should not be capable off, the Grimm spun and slashed its tail at the vulture cleaving it and ending the poor bird. The Grimm's tail even managed to accidentally cleave a nearby boulder. I can only theorize on how aggressive this type of Grimm could be when compared to the others that I have encountered so far. I continued to watch it until it was out of site before I started to write down my observations. I have decided to call the Grimm, "Carnosus, the devil of the desert", in homage to the horns it sprouted upon its head as well as its short temper. I have to say that this has been one of my more successful observations to date which did not involve me entangled with the potential for a painful death. Perhaps my luck is beginning to take a turn for the better. But then again, it's best to always keep a wary eye."
