Why do these shippers always ship heroines with the villains that spend the entire series trying to KILL those heroines?

Er, in the original series, Charmcaster NEVER tried to kill Gwen. Defeat her in battle, yes, but not kill. It was only in the crappy sequel shows that she was made to have a "Kill Gwen" obsession.

Usually, in children's cartoon shows, when a villain says she wants to "defeat the heroine", he/she usually means "kill the heroine".
Take for example, the aforementioned Queen Beryl. What do you think she has in mind when she says "I have to defeat the Sailor Scouts!"?
Or when Azula captured Toph. What do you think she was planning to do to Toph? Tickle her feet?
Furthermore, I have to dispute the original claim that "Ben 10" doesn't have enough female characters. You could easily pair Gwen with Julie Yamamoto or Helen Wheels, you don't have to resort to using her nemesis.

No, I mean in the original show Charmcaster never tried to kill Gwen LITERALLY. She never spoke of wanting to (not even using the word ''defeat''), and never took any open chance to kill Gwen (or anyone) even when those chances were there. Charmcaster in the original show was a KID. And unlike Kevin 11 or the aforementioned Azula, a perfectly sane kid. She may be a criminal, she may love being bad, but she does NOT have the emotional or logical fortitude to commit murder.
......Er, Azula never once captured Toph. She'd kill her if she did, yes, but she never actually captured her.
This artwork is based around ''Ben 10'' the ORIGINAL series, not the crappy sequels Julie and Helen appeared in. In the original, Charmcaster was just about the only recurring female character other than Gwen.
And why so offended about using her nemesis anyway? Haven't you ever heard of Foe Yay?

Yes, Azula did capture Toph.
I remember it because it was an episode where Azula fought Aang and Katara. Aang tried to go Avatar State, but Azula shot him down with lightning mid-transformation.
It was the episode where Azula tempted Zuko into joining her side. The episode where she says "Please, you weren't even a player" to someone who tried to outsmart her.
And by the way, I take whatever TV Tropes says with a grain of salt. As Libertad once said, "TV Tropes doesn't tell you the full story of what happened, and often makes up half of what they said.". They think every woman who turns into a giantess goes evil immediately, while I'm a big supporter of "growth as a superpower" and gentle/heroic giantesses.

They never said how old Charmcaster is, but she doesn't look that old to me. Comparing her appearance to Gwen's in B10AF, I'd gues she's around 17.
