i tried to recreate a scene of from nothing up my sleeveMark Hugo was wasting another Saturday pretending to clap at Mystic Mistress Marie's amazing mystic magic show that was anything but. Mark couldn't help but, sit there in disgust and fear as he saw a boy that he once respected performing as Mistress Marie brain dead assistant as he knew that he would be next. He was being forced to watch a magician who sucked at magic tricks who usually had playing cards constantly falling out of her sleeves, something that she would instantly blame on her monkey boy to which the audience all two or three people who actually weren't there against their will wonders why any man or boy would take the job as magician's assistant especially since Mistress Marie was a terrible and abusive boss to work for. Hours later, Mark walking down the street as he thought “magician's assistants were meant to be a job for woman and woman only, not like there couldn't be women magician's but, the assistant was allays meant to be a woman” he thought to himself “there's a reason that the “lovely assistant” trope a sub-trope of distracted by the sexy trope and that's something everyone on the internet will admit because it's a good distraction it's good to distract perverts and girls and women love looking at the idealized lovely assistant because girls and woman respect youth and physical beauty” he continued to himself in his head as he was being observed by a man whose face was covered in bandages. Mark walked into the burger joint as he thought “and I’m next in less than a week I’m going to be that bitch’s personal ass clown with a scared look on his face as he slowly and nervously made his order for a burger and fries when the cashier told him how much the meal cost a voice said “please allow me to pick up the tab for this young man's meal” as Mark he saw a man with bandages covering his face standing right behind him. “uh...thanks but, who are you he asked “oh, just someone who knows about the problems that you might face in a week as well as the one who has the solution to your problem” the bandaged man replied. After a meal this unknown man gave Mark his card and the next day they meet as his apartment “you said you could solve my problem but, who are you anyway?” Mark asked to which the bandaged man said “I am The Amazing Arkane, now I'm just Bartley Bauer” he paused and then, continued by saying “or at least I was” “well what turned you into a bandaged mess” Mark asked “Abbie Gustin or as you know the absolute worst assistant that I ever had, she was arrogant and completely full of herself I didn't even get a chance to perform with her she was so glued to her smart phone that she never payed attention and when practicing an escape trick it was her incompetence caused an accident” Bartley removed the bandages from his face causing a disgusted look to come across Mark's “I know” Bartley said as he reapplied his bandages “we share the same enemy you know Abbie Gustin as Mistress Marie” Bartly continued “so you're saying that we should team up” Mark replied “more then that first I must teach you everything I know and then, step out and you must become The Next Amazing Arkane” he said “it's better then ending up as Abbie's butt clown” Mark replied. A week passed and it was time for Mystic Mistress Marie's amazing mystic magic show but, her assistant wasn't there as Marie was pacing back and forth “where is he, does he want me to reveal the dirt that I have on him?” she said when suddenly she herd something that seemed like hopping in the audience. She quickly opens the curtains seeing a massive upside down top hat with four women all of which wearing bunny costumes were inside of it pooping up and down like moles in a whack a mole machine but, she noticed these women Melissa Warren, Kim Diggle and the Diehl sisters all of which were stage magicians who all had woman assistants but, had performed in Las Vegas as they bounced up and down inside the giant fabric hat, clearly inside a hypnotic trance. They began to chant like like air headed cheerleaders “come one come all!” Melissa cheered, “come see The Amazing Arkane, back and better then ever!” Kim cheered “Las Vegas' king of magic” the older Diehl sister cheered “and we are the jesters in his court” the younger Diehl sister cheered and then, all four women adorn in bunny costumes “come become our courtiers our king didn't blackmail us like Mistress Marie would” all four lovey assistants cheered. Mistress Marie quickly ran backstage to look for her safe with a worried look on her face only to find both the safe broken into and wide open along with the backstage door. She dashed out only to see the bunny assistants using their confidence and feminine wiles to lure an audience for the man pulling their strings Marie was livid seeing her once role models having been reduced to this, in the building across the street Marie snuck in ready for an encounter with The Amazing Arkane who she found waiting for her “who do you think you are?” she barked out as he just stood there as if he was getting ready for a fist fight “is this about that accident that burned off your face?” Marie ask as a shadow loomed right behind her. “seriously? You're trying to distract me with that old trick, even I know that it's done with mirrors and magnets” she said with he just stood there and as the one right behind her whispered into her ear “hello Abbie I know how much you love you're” a scared look comes across Mistress Marie's face when the original Amazing Arkane then finished with the sentence with the word “applesauce” as the woman who was once the Mystic Mistress Marie fell into a deep hypnotic trance as the second Amazing Arkane that she believed to be an illusion pulls off his mask revealing him to be Mark Hugo and said “oh boy Abbie I'm gunna love getting my revenge by ordering you around for all eternity” minutes passed and Mark performed on stage as The New Amazing Arkane with the once Mystic Mistress Marie now just Abbie Gustin as his lovely assistant adorn in colorful jester costume the audience thought that she was just doing her job and playing her part had no idea that she was actually hypnotized. The magic show went over amazing, Abbie Gustin was getting her just deserts after being reduced to both a puppet and an object of ridicule and most importantly there was a packed house and the audience had an amazing time. Shortly after the magic show was over Bartley Bauer and Mark Hugo had a little talk backstage about the future of The Amazing Arkane with Abbie just standing there in a trance with a smile on her face. “well I'm officially out you're The Amazing Arkane now” Bartley said “no performing isn't really my thing” Mark said “I just did this to avoid becoming the medieval clown's personal butt monkey” he continued as he pointed directly at Abbie “well there must be something any kind of middle ground?” Bartley asked his face covered with bandages “no” Mark said “well you liked humiliating Abbie didn't you?” Bartley asked “when did I do that?” Mark asked “okay you didn't but, you could I mean you control her like a puppet now, we could re brand...The Amazing Arkane and his incredibly foolish assistant Abbie” he continued “how about The Amazing Arkane becomes a hypnosis themed magician who only hypnotizes women and who's known for “turning random ladies into extra assistants as his signature trick?” you know like in all of those web comics and you pretend that none of this ever happened” Mark asked “deal” Bartley said. using Dashboard - Runway (runwayml.com)
