Since I started fangirling about Fenris a bit too much (even for my liking) I decided I needed some distraction...and what would be better for that than drawing Zevran Arainai?
I love his design in DA: O so I wanted to draw him like he looked in good old warden times
But I totally adore the ears of the elves from DA II so I decided giving him those despite the fact that I'm not good at drawing them...Of course he had to wear the Dalish Armour I always made him wear in the game

His facial features are really hard to draw so this drawing took me quite some time...and then my scanner kinda ruined it. In the original picture there wasn't any chance to make out his hair so I airbrushed the sh*t out of the file and added more contrast...but the contrast screwed up the shading of the skin...well, hope you like it anyway. I'm probably up to trying to scan it again.

Hehe ;D Da man bei Odins Bart nicht fluchen sollte(schlimme Dinge werden passieren!),mach ichs bei seiner Unterwäsche ;D Chrm,zum Thema: ich würd den linken Mundwinkel noch ein klitzekleines bisschen höher machen,und dann so Lachfältchen(vllt auch n bisschen um die Augen),dann müsstes eig so sein.Aber verhunz ja dein Bild nicht wegen meiner Vermutung,mach das irgendwie...sicher xD

I used to see small things coloured in your works, so at first I was a little disappointed, haha 
I love his nose :3 You drew it pretty nice and in my opinion it's the hardest part to draw.

I always colour the things that seem special to me about a character. The thing is, in Zevran's case, it's his tattoos...which are black XD I guess I'm gonna colour them in dark red someday because that would fit somehow

Well... some time ago I had pretty bad problems with all dA. It was terrible, I couldn't do most of the things. But that was because my web browser was a bit old. When I downloaded the newest version it was okay. I'm not telling you may have the same problem, but maybe it's that? Or maybe try using another web browser? c:

I wanted to learn drawing with oil paint or watercolours some time ago but I gave up quickly because I ran out of patience XD I guess I'll have to learn shading a bit better because I still dislike my shading somehow...:/
Even if I look at the drawing now I still miss something about the picture...I just have to find the thing that would fit in the picture...if you know what that could be please tell me ^^
If I look at someone, I instantly look at the nose closely. So if someone has a nose I don't like, I usually don't think of this person is pretty that's why I practice noses since I can think XD
Well, maybe it won't work then, but it's worth a try at least, isn't it? Thanks for the advice ^^

I'm doing a little break from oil paints, because I was painting damn picture for five months .__. And even if it's finished I don't like the flowers but I can't do anything about it D: Now I'm learnign shading and I'm looking for some watercolours, but I don't know which should I buy _-_

It reminds me about yesterday XD I was going to go to art shop but my fave was closed D: And I have to buy things in other shop ;w; I called my friend "My art shop was closed today! I'm freaking mad! I had to buy other XXX! And they hadn't got any YYY! And still they don't have this amazing paper! I'm really mad! ... After all... I live in the capital city, but not in the centre. To centre I have about 30km, it's not so far but by the bus it takes some time Yeah, our great public communication -.-. Come to think of it I have art shop near me, but I don't like that shop. They usually don't have things I need. So I like one shop in the centre. On one street there're three art shops and one more shop near that street
How much? Uh. You live in Germany... In Germany is euro, right? If I'm counting well it was about €20.

Well we have four days break in June... We have about two weeks christmas break, then two weeks winter break in January or February... May Weekend... And summer holidays since middle of the June to end of August.

I'm often like that after holiday but not every time...sometimes if one of my friends was on vacation all holiday long, I look forward to seeing 'em again...but if that's not the case, I just wish I could stay home longer XD We have school until half past four here (from 7:45 on) and after that I have to go home by bus so I'm home kinda late...after that I am always supposed to do homework but mostly I just don't do it

Here we have grades from 1 (the worst) to 6 (the best), so in our school 2 would be pretty bad
We start with primary school. At age of six you're going to class "0". It's more like kindergarten, you're playing most of the time bout you're also learn how to write, read and count. Then we have six proper years. After that we're going to middle school (gymnasium) for three years, then high school for three or four years and then university if you want

We only write exams at the end of Gymnasium before we leave school to study (or do some jobs XD)
So I guess you have just more schools then...I think here it's normal to leave school at the age of 18 or 19 as well if you go to Gymnasium...my brother attended a Realschule and he had to leave at the age of 16 or 17 or something...
