Oh man this was a beast to scan...just the colours being too light and UGH I -love- being a slave to my scanners wants and needs in terms of colours X_XHad a lot of fun with this, it was a nice challenge, tried some new techniques and pushing myself with lineless colouring on the background trying to force a bt more perspective on my backgrounds C: also the clouds were HELLA fun XD
Not much else to say about this so enjoy!

This looks fuckin awesome, those colors are hottt. The lighting on the dragons really pulls them into the scene, and their design is unique and well thought out. The multiple textures on everything is a great variety (though it would be nice to see more shine on those wet beasties)
A tip for pushing backgrounds and far perspective like this one: use less contrast than your foreground. also add a bit of your sky color to look like there's some atmosphere inbetween.

I agree with you about the shiny-ness, I probably could have been a bit more liberal with my whites 
Also the background tip is really helpful, on my next piece like this I may do a wash of gouache over the background elements just to wash them out a little bit more C: Thank youuuu!

Scanners are so mean. They either eat your colors or mute them to death.
I really love the light colors in this! The highlights on the sea creatures, especially. It works well with the blues. AND THOSE FINS. Those fins are awesome.
