I'm asking both of you, because you are basically the children of Mark and Jack. Ok...this is strange, but I want your inside opinion. So, my best friend of all time, Riley, is into fan-fictions. She usually gives me a summary of the story after she's done reading it. I've noticed that there's a pattern: Jack is always the one in crisis, and Mark is always the one to save him. Whatever happens, if he's getting bullied, abused, cheated on, has cancer, he's always the weaker one in the "relationship". Why do you think that is?

Sam: This has to do with body type and how society sees things. The thinner person is usually subjugated to bullying while the more built person in the rescuer. Sort of like how woman are seen as weaker than males. It that story case they see Sean as the woman due to his smaller stature while Mark in the man because of his well built muscles. Its stupid in my opinion because I know Sean can handle things on his own but it just how society is U_U

You don't see a fan-fiction about Mark getting cancer, it's always Jack -_- Sam, you are quite right about our society, and how thinner, weaker looking people are usually depicted as less strong. I mean, almost every single day, I get a snarky comment from someone saying that Jacksepticeye and Markiplier is for boys, how I must be transgender to like things like video games. It's so dumb how our society puts labels on people. I also think it's the lack of respect that the person has for the Youtuber. There was an argument I had with some girl online about why we shouldn't be writing and drawing smut scenes: it's disrespectful to the Youtubers themselves. The fans don't realize that they're not gods, they're human beings who have feelings.

Sam: Yes I agree labels are nothing more than labels. They are pointless are this point in age but people stick with it because that's how they are taught. On the subject of smut, Sean doesn't prefer them to be made because it makes him uncomfortable with them but its goes along the line what they don't know can't hurt them. People write, drawing, rp, for their own amusements and they are entitle to just that. Sean point is he personally doesn't want to see it, so as long as he doesn't know about it he's fine with it. Yes its still weird and uncomfortable but that's just how people. Its like having a dream about a person in a dirty manner, its wrong in a sense but if they person doesn't know about it then there is no harm. Yes smut is more out there but it the internet, pretty much a giant personal diary that the world can see U_U Now just so you know I have seen a few smut were Sean is the 'leading man' and Mark in the damsels in distress. Not on purpose of course >_> its hard not to run into a few of those type of stories when surfing the web.
