Description
Main character for my story Soul Plushie Caramel. This is the main character Caramel (or Mellie), who does tasks for villagers from Textile Town in order to make a living (and for something else???). As you can already tell, the world Mellie inhabits is a huge reference to sewing, so you'll come across names that may be fabrics, terms, etc...Once I get Macromedia Flash, I'll be able to get to work on the story because I'm sick of doing manga, which takes up a great deal of time and energy. My animations will only be restricted to still portraits and CGs, so nothing too flashy...
Lastly, my next plushie in works will be very special because it holds great sentimental value to me. Hope to see you all by next week ^_^. By the way; yes, she has a bunny backpack with a zipper...
The character Caramel rightfully belongs to DemonicMessiah...

I use printable fabric sheets; kinda like 8.5" by 11" fabric that can be printed on. If you aren't using fleece or felt, it's recommendable to use transfer fabric sheets instead, which can be ironed on. Painting is also a good option (acryllic is the best), but requires a lot of precision to come out right. If you need any help on making it, just send me a note ^_^ ...

Instead of Flash, you should maybe think of like... filiming the plushies themselves with added effects to animate them... that would be cool!

I was thinking about doing a comic style with plushies, but I figured backgrounds and poseable parts may be out of my abilities

I'm using fleece since I like the feel to it. Most other plushtologist use suede, but you can practically use any fabric to make a plushie. Thanks for the comment ^_^ ...
