Hunter - is it possible that the ability is linked to one's DNA? If it's inherited, the "code" to use it must be SOMEwhere, which means it could potentially be turned on...or turned off...with the right manipulation.

To that hunter girl with magic= I see, but there are some worlds in the Multiverse that magic can be passed down to a non-magic being and that person can be a spell caster although it would take a bit longer than one born with magic. Some worlds I had seen people become artificial wizards. I can tell you my OC is defiantly an artificial wizard but he became more better and powerful throughout the years. But when the Daleks took him and forced that Jenovah project onto him, and when his body regenerated into his trap body, he became far powerful than almost any spellcaster. (prolonged his life and appearance too - long story) I'm also aware of the Harry Potter universe, and that too consists of training and magical education to reach wizarding requirements. I also remember when Merlin too when he was a boy, he once trained under Queen Map, and was later betrayed by her too. Another long story put short.

Having the ability to use magic must be fun...
