This is so sweet; Genderbent Rose actually comes out nice with a brotherly feel. Also like how you realized their contrasts of stylings & figures (lithe figure + striking & Alternative for Rose, underwear casual + round wholesome for John); Also like how John really works that smoooooth sports bra, testimony to its unisexual tendency and comfy yet casual wear which complements the wearer's physique well. The dark skin-tone also helps add warmth to both the artwork & the characters here, anyways this really put a smile on my face!

I think one of my favorite thing about this fandom is that there is a pretty decent amount of trans* fanworks. so great. And gosh, such a kind thing to say, thank you.

I still don't know why people color their skins, despite the logic placed in the story, I'm not trying to be racist or anything, or any other sort of biased by disagreeing with them being fat or not, but I still have to wonder why people do it.

I can't really understand what you mean by 'logic placed in the story' here? the character are portrayed as hex code white. Not white, like the actual skin tone, but the absence of color. Unless that is what you mean, but these sorts of comments only ever show up on art where the characters are poc, so I don't think that's it? Like are you opposed to the characters looking like they are of european descent too?
Also, Andrew Hussie said you could see the kids as whatever race you want, so I have fun with headcanons, because it makes thing more inclusive/visually interesting/artistically challenging.

Well The logic in the story being that The trolls for one wouldn't assume that all humans where pink skinned if any of the characters where not, and when Kanaya first saw rose when she had gotten the veiwport set up it had said she had skin as white as a ghost in the narration.

But all of that got retconned??? like that is doesn't matter at all because, Hussie said that whatever you believe their appearance to be is correct. so people can have whatever headcanons they want concerning race. if you don't like those headcanons don't look at them.
