Not exactly a scene from The Exciting Adventures of a Cowardly Khajiit but more like a bit of Ralis fanart XD

I wanted to experiment with some facial expressions on Ralis since he is usually miserable as sin and never smiles, only sneers and smirks at best. So Ralis being Ahzidal's puppet seemed like a good way to do a different expression

A bit of info on fanfiction Ralis' "berserker mode" too since it kinda fits with this image.
So in my fanfiction Mir'ika wears Ahzidal's ring of arcana, and Ralis has a connection to it that binds him to its location (and by extension Mir'ika). As long as she wears it he is constantly aware if where she is. The reason for this is that Ahzidal's ring, being an incredibly powerful magical artifact, has a piece of its creator in it. This is true of any enchanted item in my fanfic. The ring resonates so deeply with Ralis because he too has a remnant of Ahzidal in him from when he was possessed and the parts of Ahzidal long to be close together.

This also means that when the ring (or the bearer of the ring) is in mortal danger the part of Ahzidal in Ralis rises to the surface in order to protect its other part. It grants Ralis increased speed and power but he blacks out during these episodes and has no recollection of what happened. And more concerning for Mir'ika is that the Ahzidal fragment in Ralis recognises her as the person who killed the actual Ahzidal. So... have fun with that Mir'ika! Thankfully once the danger is eliminated the fragment goes back under so hopefully she isn't in too much danger... >
