The whole set was painted about 1995.This original Disney art is slightly altered, as it was hand redrawn and water color painted. Main goal was to practice water color painting.

Yes, that's true, all "the lion king" row of works are not my art (I was too young to create something on my own when TLK came) but completely original Disney art. I just saw this pic as a small thumbnail in a promotion booklet which came with VHS son after release. I realized this is not a frame from the film, but the emotional impact was so strong, I decided to paint it.

Thank you, yes, it was a long time ago... you could do things natually the way you feel, not that perfect, but just like kids do
