[Source: Brian's Page] Description: In this film based on the Noel Coward play, Stella (Hobson) eagerly asks to be tied up by her hubby. He obliges by having her sit on a chair, then tying her hands in front with a blue scarf (attached to one side of the chair) and her feet together with another scarf. As this is happening, Olive (Landis) is shown in a darkened bedroom, where a thief has trussed her up good and proper; she is lying face-up on the bed, hands bound in front and held against her lap with a strip of white cloth, arms bound together with a strip of blue cloth, thighs bound with a strip of pink cloth, and gagged with a cushion over her mouth and held in place with another strip of pink cloth. She tries indignantly to mmpphh and gag-talk, but all that can be heard are heavily muffled sounds. She is not shown again.

We return to Stella and her hubby in their bedroom. Hubby now asks the thief to tie him up alongside Stella (all part of a money scam), which he does so in a prolonged sequence using an assortment of scarves. Here we get lots of comical, matter-of-fact dialogue between all three, with the couple clearly enjoying being tied up. Once the thief finishes tying up hubby, the latter suggests to gag them both with handkerchiefs. Stella gleefully goes first, getting a folded piece of white cloth placed between her teeth (hubby snickers at this), followed by a yellow scarf OTM. The whole time this takes place onscreen, she actually smiles behind the gag. They then give each other silly, doe-eyed looks until they begin to realize the thief is not keeping to his end of the bargain. When he reveals his true intentions, they begin mmpphhing and gag-talking incredulously at being double-crossed. Eventually he gets caught out, and the film ends with Stella and hubby giving each other a kiss--still with the gags over their mouths!
