Description Within me is a chest that is thrice locked,
That no one knows of.
I pour my seething anger inside it.
I push my burning frustration into its space.
I throw my raging shame down into it.
I place my fragile sorrow on its base.
Then I bury it.
Bury it deep in my heart where the light of day may never touch it again.
And when I need to place some other fault inside,
I remove that little chest from the depths of my soul.
I unlock its lid,
Open it,
And find it's full.
My feelings spill over its edges.
I am unable to stop the flow.
So that no one else may hear,
I cry softly in the dark.

wow- are you reading my mind? these are incredible, beautiful words. the honesty with which you speak and the pain i can feel from it are so real. amazing. i love it. i couldn't have described it nearly as well myself. this is definately going into my favorites! nice work.
